EventsMonthlyCouncil Meeting Any one is Welcome, held the second Wednesday of the month at 6pm. Venue and changes are posted on the list or by contacting the Seneschal. BBB Baxtons Bash. Is a monthly get together to practice a little martial combat, exchange ideas with A&S projects and socialise with our friends in the SCA. Please wear garb as it would help to "get into the mood" WHEN: 1st Saturday of the month, starting 12 noon onwards. WHAT TO BRING: your equipment for whichever discipline you intend to practice would be a good start. Some food to cook on the brazier, ( yup we dont own one of those nasty gas-driven dragons, it is all good, period, open fire), a dish (of something) to share with all comers, feasting gear. Anything you wish to drink , things to make you comfortable (ie: seating/cushions, shade if particularly sunny including sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses to be sunsmart)a good disposition, an open mind and a willingness to learn, participate and have fun. CANCELLATIONS: I will post to the lists by 9.00am and again at 9.30am to advise if it is still on due to the weather, *please check*. Or if you feel that way inclined, call me on 07 829 7290 for verification . It may be that it is raining in the morning but clears up later, once the cancellation has been posted it will not be changed (so to avoid confusion). However, if it is raining and you turn up no worries, we can always find something to do in the workshop. :) If you need to know more please contact me Cheers, hope to see you there Baxton Archery 4th Sunday of the Month To all those of Yeoman worth: As required by LAW, on Sunday after worshipping our Lord God, you are commanded to gather at the butts for archery practice. To all those who are noble or gentle: You are invited to join the Yeomanry of the Canton of Cluain at the butts to amuse yourself with bow and arrow.
